"Things don't have to change the world to be important." Regardless of what Steve Jobs meant to say with this quote, it's a good quote to take a bit out of context and just ponder.
What's important? What's important to you? We all live our own lives and have many small and large ideas of what makes us happy or makes life meaningful. A good portion of those things don't change the world.
So why do we do what we do everyday? Are the actions we perform aligned with our goals? Have we decided what our goals are or if they are effective? These are big questions.
It's the Christmas and holiday season. What's important to you? Please don't answer, "changing the world", that would just confuse the discussion.
