Twitter user CoinX tweeted a suggestion that the word "Pro" may be used in coming iPhone names, as in "iPhone Pro".
This brings up two issues:
First: this seems odd. Apple's prices are very high right now and it is possible that would add this word just to get a few more high end customers and justify even higher prices. The word "pro" is often used less for its actual meaning these days and more to mean "exclusive high end merchandise". Maybe Tiffany & Co will announce a new "Tiffany Pro Diamond Engagement Ring" for a woman or man who takes an engagement to an exclusive high end partner as a professional accomplishment.
The second issue: Are exclusive high end technology sector rumors being delivered directly through Twitter now? I guess so.
