A lot of people have felt disappointed by the 2016 MacBook Pro. They feel it should have had at least one USB-A port and an SD slot in addition to its four USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 ports. They feel it isn't powerful enough, doesn't hold enough memory, and doesn't have enough graphics performance.
They have good reasons for feeling this way, and yet, it is being suggested that the 2016 MacBook Pro is experiencing record sales. If it is, kudos to Apple for understanding the market. Too bad for computer nerds, like me and some of the rest of us, for no longer being the center of attention.
This site is all about this type of controversy. The computing and devices world is changing. You are far less likely now to be a power user who has reasonable demands for even more power. For manufacturers, this means they have to focus on the mass market. It's good and bad, buy maybe not as good for computer nerds egos in the short term.
